Common Water Purifier Problems

Groundwater and municipal tap water in Delhi NCR often have elevated TDS, suspended silt, and chlorine. Without regular servicing, water purifiers suffer from common performance issues:

Very Slow Water Output / Trickling: Pure water flow slows to a trickle, taking hours to fill the storage tank. Often caused by choked pre-filters, carbon blocks, or a scaled RO membrane.
Booster Pump Running Non-Stop: The purifier motor runs continuously without shutting off, wasting electricity and reject water due to a failed auto-cut float switch or defective low pressure switch (LPS).
Unpleasant Taste or Foul Odor: Purified water tastes bitter or smells stale, indicating exhausted active carbon filtration or bacterial growth in the internal storage tank.
High TDS Output: The total dissolved solids level of output water is too high because the semi-permeable RO membrane has ruptured.
Water Dripping from Purifier Body: Loose push-fit elbow connectors, cracked filter housings, or loose nylon tubing causing water puddles on the kitchen counter.
