1. Touch Dispensing Panel Unresponsive
Possible Causes: Moisture ingress behind capacitive touch sensor overlay, corroded ribbon cable, or low 5V DC control board output.
Symptoms: Pressing the glass touch icons produces no beep and no water flow from the dispensing spout.
Repair Solution: Technician opens upper panel, dries sensor pads, cleans ribbon connectors, or replaces capacitive touch PCB.
2. Low Water Flow / Storage Tank Fills Painfully Slowly
Possible Causes: Saturated 5-micron pre-sediment filter from Ghaziabad municipal lines, or booster pump delivery pressure below 55 PSI.
Symptoms: Tank takes 3+ hours to fill; reject pipe discharges weak trickle; machine runs continuously.
Repair Solution: Replace external sediment candle (₹350–₹500), test pump with pressure gauge, and rebuild pump diaphragm if required.
3. Machine Completely Inactive / No LED Illumination
Possible Causes: Internal Havells SMPS power supply blown by voltage surges, or triggered low-pressure switch (LPS) due to dry inlet line.
Symptoms: Zero display lights, booster pump completely silent, no response to power switch.
Repair Solution: Technician tests inlet line pressure, bypasses LPS to verify power, and installs a surge-protected replacement SMPS (₹650–₹950).
4. Purified Water Has Bitter, Sour, or Flat Taste
Possible Causes: Revitalizer mineral cartridge exhausted, or RO membrane salt rejection fallen below 85% on borewell supply.
Symptoms: Drinking water tastes flat, tea discolors, TDS reads abnormally high (>250 ppm).
Repair Solution: Sanitize tank, replace exhausted Revitalizer and alkaline cartridges (₹750–₹1,300), and calibrate membrane output.
5. High-Pressure Water Leakage Inside Cabinet
Possible Causes: Vibration fatigue cracking push-fit elbow joints inside compact corner-mount chassis.
Symptoms: Water trickling down wall from bottom base of purifier, dampening kitchen counter.
Repair Solution: Isolate supply, identify leaking connector, recut tubing cleanly, and install heavy-duty food-grade push-fit elbows with locking clips.
