Parts Checked & Repair: We test heating element resistance, replace faulty control relays, and flush the internal hot-drain spout using high-pressure steam.
Prestige Baffle Filter Kitchen Chimneys

Parts Checked & Repair: Chemical degreasing of baffle plates, latch replacement, and motor capacitor replacement.
Prestige Smart Motion Gesture Chimneys
Looking for Prestige gesture control chimney repair in Ghaziabad? We calibrate optical sensors and replace electronic control cards.
Design & Working: Enables touchless operation where a wave from left-to-right powers on and speeds up the motor, while right-to-left wave turns it off.
Common Faults: Infrared motion sensor failing to detect hand wave due to grease film, touch panel unresponsiveness, or random self-triggering.
Parts Checked & Repair: Sensor module cleaning and recalibration, PCB trace servicing, and internal blower chamber degreasing.
Prestige Straight-Line Under-Cabinet Hoods

Common Prestige Chimney Problems We Fix in Ghaziabad
Here are the typical Prestige chimney breakdowns reported across Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara, and Ghaziabad residential colonies, along with what our technicians inspect:
1. Prestige Chimney Suction Power Drastically Reduced
Customer notices heavy cooking smoke lingering over the hob. Usually caused by hardened grease caking the baffle channels or a degraded motor capacitor. We perform chemical filter washing, capacitor replacement, and duct inspection (₹350 – ₹750).
2. Prestige Auto-Clean Function Not Melting Trapped Oil
Customer presses the auto-clean touch button; the unit beeps, but the casing remains cold and no oil drips into the cup. Caused by a burnt heating element or failed PCB relay. We test heater ohms, replace heating elements, and clear drain channels (₹500 – ₹1,350).
3. Prestige Motor Humming Without Rotating
Lights turn on, but the blower motor only buzzes. Caused by congealed mustard oil jamming the shaft or a dead starter capacitor. We clean motor shaft bearings, apply high-temp lubricant, and replace the capacitor (₹420 – ₹950).
4. Loud Rattling Noise on High Fan Speed
Chimney vibrates violently when shifted to speed 2 or 3. Caused by asymmetric oil accumulation throwing the blower impeller off balance, or worn motor sleeve bearings. We dismantle the blower assembly, degrease fan blades, and restore rotational balance (₹450 – ₹1,100).
Never attempt to open the Prestige chimney motor casing or touch high-voltage run capacitors while connected to household mains power. Heavy oil accumulation combined with live 230V wiring creates an electrical short and fire risk. Always isolate the kitchen switchboard before inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions About Prestige Chimney Repair in Ghaziabad
Helpful, transparent answers to 18 common questions regarding Prestige kitchen chimney repair, charges, and maintenance:
1. How much does Prestige chimney repair cost in Ghaziabad?
Standard repair costs range from ₹350 to ₹750 for minor capacitor, switch, or filter fixes. Auto-clean heating element or PCB servicing costs ₹650 to ₹1,350, while full blower motor replacement ranges from ₹1,800 to ₹3,200 including labour.
2. Why is my Prestige auto-clean chimney not heating during the cycle?
This is usually caused by an open thermal heating element wrapped around the motor housing or a burnt 230V relay on the control PCB. Our technician tests resistance and installs a compatible heating pad.
3. Can you repair Prestige smart gesture sensors that fail to detect hand movement?
Yes. Most wave-sensor failures are caused by grease film covering the infrared lens or decalibration from voltage fluctuations. Cleaning the optics and recalibrating the board restores smooth gesture response.
4. What is the doorstep inspection fee for Prestige chimneys in Ghaziabad?
Our doorstep inspection charge across all Ghaziabad localities is ₹199 to ₹299. If you approve the repair work during the visit, this charge is adjusted against your final repair bill.
5. Why does my Prestige chimney motor hum without rotating?
A motor that hums without spinning typically has a weakened motor run capacitor or congealed oil seizing the rotor shaft. We replace the capacitor and lubricate shaft bearings.
6. How often should Prestige stainless steel baffle filters be cleaned?
For regular Indian cooking, baffles should be washed every 3 to 4 weeks with warm water and detergent at home. A professional chemical dismantled deep clean is recommended every 6 to 10 months.
7. Do you supply model-compatible spare parts for Prestige chimneys?
Yes. We carry model-matched capacitors, copper blower motors, heating pads, touch boards, LED lights, and oil cups suited for Prestige models.
8. Why does my Prestige chimney vibrate aggressively on speed 3?
Violent vibration is caused by asymmetric grease buildup on the centrifugal blower wheel, throwing dynamic balance off. Thorough chemical degreasing of the fan wheel eliminates the shaking.
9. How long does a Prestige chimney deep cleaning service take?
A complete chemical deep cleaning and degreasing takes approximately 60 to 80 minutes on-site, fully protecting your kitchen counters and tiles.
10. Can you replace the exhaust duct pipe on a Prestige chimney in high-rise societies?
Yes. We install heavy-gauge 6-inch expandable aluminum ducts and rigid PVC pipes, connecting them with metal jubilee clamps and outdoor gravity flaps.
11. Why is yellow oil dripping from my Prestige chimney onto the cooktop?
Oil leaks occur when the rear collection tray is full, misaligned, or cracked, or when the internal drainage spout is clogged with solid grease. Our technician flushes the oil channels and reseals the housing.
12. Is it better to repair a Prestige chimney motor or replace it entirely?
If the issue is a dead capacitor, dry shaft bearings, or minor jam, repair is quick and economical (₹400–₹850). If the copper winding has burnt completely or shorted, motor assembly replacement (₹1,800–₹3,000) provides dependable longevity.
13. Do your technicians cover Indirapuram, Vaishali, and Vasundhara for Prestige repairs?
Yes. Operating directly from our Indirapuram hub, our technicians provide same-day doorstep service across Ahinsa Khand, Vaibhav Khand, Niti Khand, Vaishali Sectors 1–9, and Vasundhara Sectors 1–19.
14. Are services available in Raj Nagar Extension and Crossing Republik for Prestige?
Yes. We regularly serve high-density apartment communities in Raj Nagar Extension, Crossing Republik, and Siddhartha Vihar with equipped service vans.
15. What type of degreaser is safe for Prestige stainless steel chimneys?
We use non-caustic, non-abrasive food-grade chemical degreaser foam that dissolves sticky mustard oil without corroding stainless steel surfaces or hazing decorative glass canopies.
16. Can you fix touch buttons that beep continuously on Prestige hoods?
Yes. Continuous beeping is caused by cooking steam and oily moisture settling across the capacitive touch ribbon behind the glass. We dismantle, dry, and clean the circuit board to restore proper operation.
17. Will the technician test chimney suction before and after repair?
Yes. Our technician conducts an empirical suction paper test and sound-level assessment both before starting and after finishing the service to verify restored performance.
18. How to clean sticky grease off Prestige push buttons without water ingress?
Our technicians use specialized electrical contact cleaner spray that dissolves oil immediately and evaporates without leaving conductive moisture inside the switch box.
